Meet Nelsire

"My job isn't to sell you insurance — it's to help you understand your options."

I'm an independent insurance agent in Orlando, Florida. I don't represent a single company — I compare options from multiple carriers so you can choose the plan that truly fits your situation and budget.

My guidance is in English and Spanish, pressure-free, and completely free. I work with families, individuals, and people navigating the insurance system for the first time.

Why guidance matters

Florida's insurance system can be complex.

Options change every year. Enrollment deadlines are strict. And every personal situation — age, income, immigration status — affects which plans are available to you. That's why many families don't take action: it's not a lack of interest, it's a lack of clear guidance.

An independent agent doesn't work for a single company. Their job is to explain your options and help you choose based on your situation, not based on one provider's products. The consultation is free and there's no obligation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does health insurance cost in Florida?+

The cost depends on your age, income, marital status, and the type of plan. Many families qualify for Marketplace subsidies that lower the monthly cost. The eligibility process requires reviewing your specific situation — that's why the consultation is the first step.

Can I get insurance if I'm not a U.S. citizen?+

It depends on your immigration status. Lawful residents, green card holders, and other categories may qualify for Florida Marketplace plans and, in some cases, for Medicaid. We review your specific situation in the consultation.

When can I enroll in a health insurance plan?+

Open Enrollment runs from November 1 to January 15. Outside that period, you can enroll if you have a qualifying life change — job loss, a move, marriage, the birth of a child, among others.

Is there any cost for the consultation?+

No. The guidance consultation is completely free. As an independent agent, guidance services are compensated by the insurance companies — not by the client. My goal is to find the plan that best fits your situation.

What's the difference between an independent agent and a captive one?+

A captive (direct) agent works for a single company and can only offer their products. An independent agent compares options from multiple carriers and can guide you based on your situation, without being limited to one provider's plans.

How long does the process take?+

The initial consultation lasts about 30 minutes. After that, we review the available options and, if you decide to move forward, we guide you through enrollment. Total time depends on the type of plan and your personal circumstances.
